Blue’s Gym is a Christian-based organization with the overall mission to help the struggling youth community of Grand Rapids. Blue’s was started by world kickboxing champion Dino Newville. Dino is well known within the martial arts and greater Grand Rapids for not only his fighting achievements, but his desire to help those in need. Dino aims to help the community and its youth through professional martial arts training, mentoring, and tutoring assistance. We stand by the motto, “The best way to help kids is to be proactive, not reactive.”. Our gym offers a variety of martial arts classes including Karate, MMA, BJJ, and Boxing. Our New learning center is a place that features computers, books for checkout, and tutoring. Though faith is a foundation of our organization, we do not discriminate and invite anyone and everyone to our gym with open arms.
