The most important thing for financial independence is that those fighters save part of their gage. So don't take an expensive car but save up this money. In English they call this: Live below your means. You cannot assume that you are going to make it to the UFC and that your financial picture depends on that, that is gambling. If I were Semleer, I would save the 3 days he works on the side completely. Then after 10 years he will have enough money left over not to worry about anything else.
This initiative of theirs is the best thing that happened last year for the sport . Hopefully come and more people who can help fighters relieve themselves .
Endy should have had a rematch a long time ago. You can say what you want but that back fist by Chico was forearm man. The ref could never see it. And Endy was flaming though before that back fist fell.
Chico said in an interview that you could clearly see he was still hitting with the tape and "that's your glove too." He had seen that correctly but that's not the rules. That tape is on your lower arm and it was a lower arm.
Andy should have been given at least 5 minutes.
Semeleer is such a nice guy, he's extremely technical but I hope he's going to step up now also kwa gameplan and mentally and give the 2 gentlemen fighting in Miami a hard time. That's top for the division.
Anyway, that top 5 is of high technical level but it would be nice if they can also make things difficult for Tyjani and Chico and cause some upheaval. I really think highly of Semeleer.
Nice initiative. I hope Rodney has deep pockets. Because it's something for the long term. This could become big if these guys actually get to the UFC and really pop there. I think this is realistic for Boapeah. He's also still very young and eager. Fights regularly. He's learning a lot and daring to take on challenges.
For Semeleer with all due respect. The best is gone. In kickboxing he could still do some nice matches but in mma he is too late. In addition, he would be physically inadequate or he would have to cut to a feather or lightweight.
For Brian Hay, though, this is a lifechanging thing. It's that extra push to get a contract somewhere. He also has a lot of good connections and that's a nice entrance for Ofc.
