Budoschool Yotosama

Edit

JU-DO, which literally means "gentle way," was developed by the creator of JUDO and founder of the KODOKAN (1882), Prof. Kano. From the old JIU-JITSU, he extracted and adapted elements to make it possible for everyone to practice what he then called "judo." A few years later, Judo was recognized by the Japanese Ministry of Education and was taught in all Japanese schools. After 1938, students of Jigoro Kano were stationed in Europe. Kawashi (France), Koizumi (England), Hanna Rhi (Germany) were given the task of spreading JUDO. A few years later, JUDO became known in the Netherlands as well.
