The Boxing Gym: The Rotterdam Boxing Association "Boxing '82" was founded in 1982 by Frans van den Heerik. Before 1982, this gym was a branch of the boxing school "Theo Huizenaar." Frans comes from the "stable" of Theo Huizenaar, where he trained for many years. The gym embraces a no-nonsense mentality, perfectly captured by the famous Rotterdam motto: “Actions speak louder than words.”
