Team Smits is a young and talented team that was founded in April 2008. Team Smits is located in Tilburg and has a number of youth and senior fighters. Fun is central to us. For competitions, we have special competition training, sparring training, and pads training. Do you want to work on your fitness and learn boxing techniques as well? Lessons are given every day except Sunday. Both recreational and competition fighters are welcome with us. We offer Muay Thai lessons from the age of 4 and MMA lessons from the age of 6. You can also come to us for 1 on 1 guidance, children's parties, boxing bag, kids self-defense, and personal training. Keep an eye on our timetable for new lessons regularly. Our boxing training is part of our bootcamps. But bootcamp is actually not the right word in the context of this training. In Den Bosch (and Tilburg) we give "boxing fit" workouts. The main difference with regular boxing: No full contact punches to the body, but to inside gloves or pads.

Boxing Boldy is for everyone aged 12 and up. It doesn't matter if you're young or old, big or small, athletic or just getting started with your fitness journey. All exercises are offered at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels, making them accessible and doable for everyone.

"At The Kickboxing University, we are really about supporting our pupils. Not only with a comprehensive curriculum, but we also try to give the best possible advice to our pupils. As a member of an official JJF training location, you are allowed to train at all JJF training locations in the Netherlands. Seminars (guest lessons) are organized that you can participate in, and twice a year, a central training session is held at Papendal for all JJF members. During the central training, belt promotions are also conducted by JJF head coach Mathieu Peters, the first Dutch BJJ Black Belt. All our BJJ and MMA fighters are free members of the JJFIA! The JJFIA provides the gym with a well-balanced training program, curriculum, and coaching courses, ensuring that we can optimally guide and train all athletes. As a member, you have access to the JJFIA website, where you can find hundreds of technique videos, belt promotion requirements, home workouts, discounts for seminars, free participation in central training sessions, and free participation in the technique exam for your next belt.

We at KVG kickboxing and defensibility Den Bosch believe that everyone can learn kickboxing and learn to defend themselves! Since 2010 we have been active with our school in Den Bosch. RODNEY VAN OOSSANEN I was 11 years old when I started practicing Teakwon-Do and and about 5 years later I passed the blue belt with brown slip. After that, when I had to take exams for the brown belt, I stopped practicing Teakwon-Do. Why? I found that you were doing too many exercises while I wanted more sparring. After a few years, I was now 19, I wanted to release my energy and started training again. This time at Survivor in Breda, Taekwon-Do I had traded for Thai boxing. Under the guidance of my trainer Jos Verbeijnen I soon started to enjoy it and started training more and more until eventually I was training 5 times a week. The Sundays were for running. After a year I switched to Sportstudio 85 in Hank, where I trained under Ron Troost. After Ron unfortunately passed away, Gerald Zwane brought me out in races in the N-Class after 1.5 Years. The transition to the C-Class followed and it became more and more technical. I thought it was fine. The level kept rising and after 5 years I returned to Breda. It was Leo Tuwannakotta who transferred a lot of technique and let me compete in the B-class. A few years later the gym was taken over by Ramon Dekker. Who doesn't know him? Together with Sel they brought me to the highest class. I learned a lot from them and am grateful for that. Not only technique, but also speed and especially perseverance. At the age of 30 I stopped competing. The combination of training very much and fighting matches proved increasingly difficult to combine with my work and my family. I did miss the sport, especially seeing athletes and fighters grow and decided to start teaching. Rodney's Gym was born and after first using the space of sports center Heijl, we have now found a beautiful new location at the Arkendonk. Here we can practice Thai Boxing, train, get tired but most of all get better. Thai Boxing is a wonderful sport. It brings you condition, strength, reactivity and.... It is also fun to do! Since 2022 I am a trainer in possession of the NOC/NSF diploma "Opleiding Trainer-Coach 3 Kickboxsen", the highest attainable diploma for a kickboxing trainer in the Netherlands.

We believe that if you mix fun with sports, you'll be able to keep it up longer. Positivity is key here. If you have a positive attitude, it makes everything easier and more enjoyable. This doesn't mean that everything will always be easy or that you won't sometimes lack motivation and be tired, but staying positive gives you the strength to keep going and continue enjoying what you're doing.

The most important thing about teaching is experience in the sport. Nowadays everyone thinks he or she can just teach kickboxing. I Sel Selder have been kickboxing for 39 years, started at Maeng Ho Breda, trained under Cor Hemmers, maker of many champions including the greatest Ramon Dekker. After having done 45 matches myself in which I was Dutch champion, I was interested in teaching from an early age and started teaching children at Maeng Ho together with Ramon Dekker. Some time later Ramon Dekker started his own gym (team dekkers) and he asked me to join the adventure.
