The driving force behind our gym is world champion kickboxer Fred Royers. Initially, the concept of "elite sports" came first. That had to be the case with nine A-class kickboxers walking around here. But of course, we also need our youth and "nachwuchs" (youth development) and we are developing ourselves in terms of breadth to other combat sports for different target groups. We invest a lot in this. And so we have broadened our perspective. "Broader" thinking, combat sports and at the same time working hard but injury-free in the gym. Making combat sports accessible to an even larger group!

More peace, a physically flexible body. Aikido is a modern Japanese martial art, movement art and art of living. The practice is tailored to the contemporary Western man, without changing the original principles. Practitioners learn to relax under pressure, which gives them a choice again and makes them more resilient. Aikido has an extensive system of martial art techniques, in which both unarmed and armed attackers are neutralized.

We are Aisha and Stacey, we started the AJJA Foundation in 2021 to introduce more Arnhemmers to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Meanwhile, this has grown into a fine team where everyone has different goals such as challenge, motivation, self-confidence, resilience and fitness building. The name Lawa's Gym comes from owner Matthieu Lawalata's last name. LAWA at the same time at our gym stands for Learn, Absorb, Work, Achieve. Learning together from and with each other (Learn), absorbing it into yourself so that it really becomes something of your own (Absorb), working with it and working hard (Work) and achieving your goals, whatever they may be, together (Achieve). All this in a safe and fun learning environment where Respect, Discipline and Perseverance are the pillars in our lessons. The warrior in the logo is derived from the Moluccan roots of owner Matthieu Lawalata and symbolizes a Moluccan warrior. The warrior of course also applies to the Martial Arts/Self Defense in which we teach. Fighting is in the broadest sense of the word. Fighting for more confidence, fighting to feel fitter or fighting to make yourself more resilient and stand up for yourself, fighting during competitions etc. Together we fight to achieve your goals, whatever they may be. With us you can join fitness but also group kickboxing classes of both punching bag and technique training. We are open 7 days a week. House of Champions is a fight academy for A and B fighters, with a longer term vision. We work together to build a career or further develop your career. We can be found on stages such as Glory and Enfusion. You will be professionally supported by our experienced trainers.

BouwSports is the gym in Ermelo where people of all ages can work out. We are a spacious gym with 2 fitness rooms and separate areas for spinning, group classes, and combat sports. We offer the largest variety of group classes in Ermelo. With activities both inside and outside the gym, there’s always a reason to come and train.

The Boxing Factory Nijmegen has started to promote the "noble art of self defense" among the people of Nijmegen. Agoge Jiu Jitsu (AJJ) stems from Jiu Jitsu Factory (JJF) and also competes at tournaments under this name. Jiu Jitsu Factory started out as a small group of schools led by Mathieu and Willem.

Welcome to NABA boxing club. We would love to tell you all about ourselves. We are a Nijmegen amateur boxing club with a Fight Right certification. The Nijmegen Amateur Boxing Association, shortly NABA, was established in 1947, making us the oldest boxing school in Nijmegen, and we are proud of it! As a club, we stand for responsible training in a safe environment under professional supervision. In addition to focusing on boxing technique, we also pay attention to fitness, conditioning, strength, and nutrition.

Boxing bag training is a great alternative to more traditional forms of physical activity such as running, cycling, and swimming. This high-intensity workout is a great way to burn a lot of calories and get the body in top condition quickly. The boxing bag training consists of combinations performed at a fast pace, which increases your body strength, improves your endurance, and allows you to release some energy and stress on the boxing bag.

Our dojo is relatively small in number with both men and women, but we are growing slowly. The core trains regularly and with great dedication and attention. This makes the training more personal. The learning curve is also higher because you get much more attention from the teacher present. The atmosphere is friendly without it being at the expense of attention and focus during the lessons. Everyone is given the space to develop at their own pace. This is also closely monitored by the teacher and the students. In addition, you can work more specifically towards an exam with a smaller group. The path (do) and progression that you take in this is more important than the final result. Everyone has their own goal in this too. And then it is not about the urge to perform, but more about the potential that someone has. One wants to become more flexible and the other a bit more firm. The trick is to investigate both facets so that they can exist side by side. So investigate what makes you too flexible or too firm.
