The driving force behind our gym is world champion kickboxer Fred Royers. Initially, the concept of "elite sports" came first. That had to be the case with nine A-class kickboxers walking around here. But of course, we also need our youth and "nachwuchs" (youth development) and we are developing ourselves in terms of breadth to other combat sports for different target groups. We invest a lot in this. And so we have broadened our perspective. "Broader" thinking, combat sports and at the same time working hard but injury-free in the gym. Making combat sports accessible to an even larger group!

Training at Institute Krav Maga Netherlands (IKMN) means that you train at a professional school where quality and passion for Krav Maga are paramount. We offer American Kenpo Karate lessons in IJsselstein and Houten, with a focus on practical and effective self-defense, as well as increasing physical and mental resilience. From street fighting techniques to balanced martial arts, Kenpo is ideal for self-defense, sports and leisure activities. It is an excellent sport to build and develop self-confidence. Fight Academy Almelo is a sports academy specialized in Kickboxing. In addition to kickboxing, we offer various group classes. We have over 650m2 of which 450m2 (dojo) training space equipped with special sports mats, 26 punching bags, an Olympic boxing ring, sauna, cardio and strength equipment. We have a cozy canteen and separate locker rooms (men / women) with shower facilities. At our academy, we create a low threshold so that everyone, from recreational to competitive athletes, feels at ease. Therefore, everyone is welcome at our academy: young, old, man or woman.
