GLORIOUS GYM has been founded by Anton Schut since June 8, 2015. The Gym is located in the Aubussonhal in Assen, the building where Boxing Association Assen is also located. Anton is also the Muay Thai and Kickboxing trainer in the gym. Anton Schut is a very experienced kickboxing instructor who has more than earned his spurs in the Kickboxing world. For the past 15 years he has taught classes at Dave Jonkers Gym and at Fight Game Academy of Semmy Schilt in Zuidlaren. He himself also has a lot of experience as a competition fighter where he has entered the ring many times in all classes.

Boxing4all is more than just a boxing school! With us you get boxing lessons from real top boxers but you can also get personal support to get the best out of yourself! Boxing offers a conditional work-out, is a very good remedy against stress, helps enormously with losing weight and gives your posture and self-confidence a huge boost. De Fightgame Academy is opgericht door drievoudig K1 wereldkampioen Sem "Semmy" Schilt. De Fightgame Academy biedt een breed scala aan verschillende lessen en vechtstijlen aan. Een erg professionele gym waar zowel beginners als gevorderden een perfecte begeleiding krijgen om het maximale resultaat te behalen.

Dave Jonkers was born in 1955 in the Netherlands and his profession is gym owner and sports teacher. He started at a young age with Judo and Kyokushin Karate in the city of Groningen. Dave Jonkers took several sports courses including CIOS, MO pedagogy and several nationally recognized sports specific courses including fencing instructor, strength sports and martial arts. Besides martial arts, Dave has extensive experience in coaching youth and youth problems. He started his gym at the age of 20 and from 1988 he and David Cook developed the karate style Ashihara International, a departure from Japanese Ashihara Karate. In the 1990s, with Jon Bluming and others, the International BudoKai was founded, making a name and reputation worldwide. In his role as a martial arts coach, Dave has produced many world-level champions in Karate, Kickboxing and MMA. And he is still active in coaching martial arts practitioners.

We would like to introduce ourselves—we are Sven and Noor Festerling. Our shared passion is sports and movement. Sven works as a group leader & self-defense instructor at a forensic psychiatric clinic, and Noor is an ambulance nurse. We are incredibly proud to be the owners of Body&Mind Sports alongside our regular jobs. We believe that engaging in sports helps you feel better both physically and mentally. That’s why we chose the name of our gym: Body&Mind Sports.

Kung Fu/Wushu, Semi-Contact, Sanda, Zelfverdediging, Boksen Wushu-vereniging Bao Trieu / Blijd traint naast de traditionele Kung Fu-stijl Hung Gar ook moderne Wushu. Wat betreft het wedstrijdvechten kan je bij Bao Trieu zowel semi-contact (all-style) sparring als het Chinese full-contact Sanda / Sanshou beoefenen.
