In March 2019, we opened our own sports center in the heart of Amsterdam. Our goal is to make as many women and children as possible more resilient, so that they can go through life with a safe and confident feeling. In addition to our self-defense lessons, you can also come to us for high-quality personal training. You will also find various entrepreneurs at our location who are active in the massage, health and beauty industry.

At Mejiro Gym Amsterdam you can find an all-round kickboxing training at amateur level as well as on a professional level. During this course you’ll learn the famous ‘Mejiro-style’. Next to that we offer a kickbox training that is accessible for everyone: young & old, man & woman, beginners & experienced. Kickboxing offers an endurance work-out, prevents stress, helps to loose weight, build up your confidence, adjusts your posture and expression and brings body and mind back together. All trainings are held in a healthy and responsible way.

Train the complete Rickson and Kron Gracie Jiu-Jitsu self-defense system: 12 lessons per week including 4 lessons in the afternoon and 7 open mats. A gym where skill, perseverance, fitness and team spirit are central. Amsterdam BJJ consists of a friendly and fanatic team of both recreational and competitive fighters. The school of NOC*NSF nationally recognized BJJ trainer/coach Raoul Hiwat is affiliated with the Rickson Gracie International Jiu-Jitsu Association, which is led in the Netherlands by Harold Harder.

Our classes encourage you to get to know your body on a deeper level. You’re exposed to different levels of intensity and learn how to progress based on your current condition. Every class follows a pre-written program to maximize your time and effort. We teach all levels, ages and abilities, so expect to meet a diverse group.
